The Y loved Zap's results with the Greater Cincinnati Association so much, they invited us to help launch the $30 Million renovation of the Central Parkway location. Through signage and marketing materials, Zaptivity reimagined the familiar, family-friendly YMCA branding with a more focused aesthetic. We respected both the historic significance of the Central Parkway location as well as the current OTR revival, aimed at millennials and downtown professionals.
Keeping CP’s professional, tech-savvy clientele in mind, Zaptivity limited the Y’s color palette, incorporated industrial accents such as brushed metal and wood, featured historic touchpoints, and maximized white space.
Zaptivity’s philosophy was to integrate signage that enhanced the building’s unique blend of historic beauty and cutting-edge technology — avoiding distraction yet adding to everyday usability.
